Moving Forward in Real Estate: Ushering in the New Normal

Massive opportunity happening right now for everyone in real estate!
Throughout 2025 there’s a prime opportunity to shift the focus from what happened with the NAR settlement and policy changes to focus on the opportunity that can be seized by being on the front lines to…
Usher in the changes and reinforcing the new normal that will set the tone moving forward.
The challenge that real estate professionals are facing during this time is overcoming the misinformation around the settlement, agent value - especially buyer agents, agent compensation, and the costs associated with buying a home.
The policy changes are essentially requiring buyer habits to adjust and this puts the responsibility on agents to lead the charge to usher in the new normal to help make the necessary adjustments.
The good news is the changes are ultimately for the better for all parties involved.
The quicker the focus is moved from what happened to the new normal and the processes and procedures to adapt to the new normal are implemented, the quicker the new normal will become just the normal.
Continuing to respond with fear and chaos will only create more fear and chaos.
We have an opportunity to be strategic in how we respond.
The good news is that the policy changes not only enhances transparency with costs associated with buying and selling real estate, but actually safeguards agent's time, effort, and positions them to assist their buyers to prepare to enter the market with the strongest buying power as possible.
This sets the stage for everyone involved to win and that makes what happened ultimately for the better.
